
Juveniles identified as suspects in hate crime investigation in San Anselmo

A person died following a multi-vehicle crash that prompted a partial closure of Highway 101 on Saturday morning in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP said the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m., north of the Tully Road off-ramp. Authorities said initial reports indicated the incident involved one vehicle, but it was later determined multiple vehicles were involved. One person died in the crash, according to CHP. Authorities were also advised of a possible ejection and a trapped occupant, adding many vehicles sustained major damage. The crash prompted the closure of all southbound lanes on Highway 101. The lanes reopened around 9 a.m.
